Stones of Fate is an easy-to-learn, fast-paced card game that uses memory and strategy. Peek at cards, flip cards, place your stones carefully, and control your destiny.

The game uses a deck of tarot cards, with special symbols on the edges. The cards are arranged into a grid on the table. By placing stones next to the sides of cards and flipping cards, players can win cards. The symbols on the cards determine the kinds of patterns players need to make with the stones. Cards also include special rules when they are won or flipped that create strategic options. Each card is worth a number of points.

At the end of the game, the player with the most points wins, but all players can enjoy the symbolism of the tarot cards they have aquired.

Stones of Fate was the first place winner of the Polyprize - a game design competition sponsored by Polycon at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in 2012.

Stones of Fate is being developed by Cosmic Wombat Games and will be coming to Kickstarter on May 24!
